Welcome to Prismatic Therapeutic Services, led by Christie Mokry

 Christie Mokry is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the state of Texas and has completed training in 5NP (five needle protocol, formerly Acudetox) and is awaiting full licensure from the state Medical Board. She is also certified to teach SMART Recovery and is a Space Holder for the Y12SR movement, a program which combines yoga and the 12 Steps for a deeper connection to holistic recovery. Christie has traveled the globe learning the principles of harm reduction and is passionate about implementing these practices in local communities across the country. She provides presentations to clinical groups, universities, and community members, educating them on harm reduction and human rights in relation to drug policies. She is continuously engaged in advancing her skills and staying on the cutting edge as a clinical professional practicing harm reduction while also helping others to do the same. 

In her own recovery since 2012, Christie understands the importance of being engaged in personal, familial, and spiritual growth as a way of maintaining connection to a power greater than herself. Christie’s personal struggles through her early years have helped transform her into a person who is proud to be true to herself, leading her to become a resilient fighter for her client’s personal empowerment. Belief in the essential wisdom within each of us is fundamental to Christie’s primary mission: to support her clients in finding their own path by creating a healthy relationship with life based on personal accountability and self compassion. In her personal time, Christie stays active as a mom and pet parent (Bootsie). Christie enjoys spending her free time frolicking in nature, camping and connecting in the wild as a way to keep herself humble and grounded. She also loves cooking and is an avid dancer!
